Holy cow! It's a new month already? Blog Hoppin` Time!

Good Morning, Class! It is the begining of "fall" and back to school. It is hard to believe it is that time once again. Now, I will have more time to stamp. Innkeepering in a tourists area and combining it with summer, means, not much "me" time.. so, things will be changing a bit. I will have a little extra time to stamp and be creative. This months blog hop is.. Fall & Back To School. I was going to do my theme in fall.. I then decided to challenge myself with the Back To School theme. So, lets show you what I did come up with.

I will get a better picture of each for you here below.. I must say.. the projects were both super duper easy and fun to make. In fact, I didnt stamp at all - crazy! I did get to use my hot glue gun thought!

For the card, I used:

Baja Breeze Card Stock
Wild Wasabi Card Stock
Storytime Designer Series Paper - I used a bottom portion and cut it to size and tada!
Very Vanilla Card Stock with Red Print From My Printer - CK Font - Child's Play
Riding Hood Red Card Stock
Subtles Buttons Collection
Whisper White Bakers Twine
Stampin Dimenionals

For the Apple - I was inspired when I seen these on a display at the Stampin` Up! convention. I used a 3 1/2 inch circle die and the big shot and cut out 12 of these.. folded them in half. I then glued them all together, and then took my hot glue gun, and glued the apple circles to the big pencil!

Cherry Cobbler Card Stock
Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper (Old Olive)
A Pencil from Staples Office Supply store.. (Jumbo ones!)
Blossom Petals Builder Punch (for the leaves)
Hot Glue Gun
3/8 inch Stitched Satin Ribbon - Gumball Green - LOVE it!

A little bonus.. I was playing around with MDS2 (My Digital Studio) - a digital program that Stampin` Up has. It is a very cool program and highly addictive. If you are even remotely thinking of trying to go digital with your scrapbooks or even cards, and other awesome paper crafting ideas, I suggest you grab the free download and check it out. It is amazing! The sky is the limit! Here is a quick card made with MDS2.. how cool is this?

This is the front, inside front, inside right and back of the card.. pretty cool eh? This was done using a template from the Back To School download. You can find out more information on MDS2 by clicking

Great projects Dawn. The Storytime DSP is great for a non-stamping project. I love the 3D apple pencil, that is so cool. You MDS2 project is really neat, looking forward to giving that a try.

Great projects and what a wonderful way to use the DSP for those of us that don't scrapbook as much as we should. Thanks for sharing!

Can't wait to get my MDS2 and start playing with it. You always make such amazing projects with it. Love the apple pencil topper! What a cute idea and a great way for teachers to keep track of their classroom pencils :)
