Senior Pics

Hi!! Yesterday I had the pleasure of being asked to take this charming young man's senior pics. I have to admit, I was nervous. I've never had the opportunity to do this. So, I thought.. ok.. this will be a good challenge for me. I love to take pics.. but I've always been a scenery photographer. I mean I take snapshots of family but.. that is just so different. It was fun tho. The only thing I was frustrated about was the sun. It was not cooperating and we were battling it all day. Poor Brett was squinting a lot. He would kill me for posting this (but he has no idea I have a blog LOL). Some of the pics that were taken are very silly and goofy.. long story short.. his mom went with us, and he started to act up as kids do and I just kept clicking the camera, like I alwyas do! So, enjoy! Take time to have fun!

Ok.. the video wont work.. so here are just a few pictures...

Sweet!

So, I am making stuff for the art and craft show.. and i stumble upon Kimberly Van Diepen's blog. She came up with this awesome idea using Ghirardelli Chocolates. My preference.. the Peppermint Bark. Choco-gasmic! Can you say yummy? I don't have the die that Kim has but I made do with what I have.. and it came out kinda cute. Almost as cute and Kim's! Check out her blog and her video on making these cute and delicious little chocolates.

I'm on a roll! I'm mass producing  for a Art & Craft show I am participating in on November 12 & 13, along with November 19 & 20th. If you are local, please mark these dates on your calendar. It will be held at Laurie Carey's home at 501 East Melendy Street, Ludington. It will be 10 am until 6pm all four days. Now.. to show you my "not so tidy" craft area.. egads! LOL.

Now, back to the grind.. Santa's helpers are waiting for me to get back to work! :-)

The Smell Of Autumn Is In The Air...

Reflections in the water.

Mother Natures new carpet.

The channel at the opening of the State Park

Salmon
And the clouds tell the story too. Fall is here.. the trees are changing colors and cool crisp breeze is here. The smell of those blanket of leaves on the ground is something that reminds me of my childhood. I think this time of year is so pretty. I just dread what comes after fall......... winter! I'm not a winter lover. I don't care of the snow. I hate to be cold. I'm soaking all this in good.. before the pretty palette changes to white  and "snirt" snow stuff.

This is my new ride.. I finally have it home. Yay! (it was in the shop 5 days after I got it but it is running nice now.. thank goodness!)
Da Jeep!

Just had to get another picture.
And here.. is fall in northwest Michigan!

a small pumpkin patch

Overgrown asparagus.. love how it turns color

The Butler Book - It flips and pops up!

At the club scrap retreat, we made this awesome book. They had additional kits for sale in different colors. I bought blue, more pink, and black n white. Inside are pages that flip and pop out.. and you add your own pictures to it and embellish the outside.. here are some cool examples Kay had for us:
Ok.. here is the inside of what it can look like once you add pictures...

So, this is what I made today:

So much fun! I made 2.. have a few more to assemble! :) Have a great day and take time to be creative!

Stamp Club was tonight........

And, as usual, I had a great time with great friends! One of the members (Teresa) is due with a baby boy in December. We were sneaky and did a "mini" baby shower for her. Here are some pics and the projects.. I love stamp club. I guess I like being a social butterfly! Thanks, Jenny.. awesome projects once again!
