Greetings!

I am on a roll with Christmas cards..!! Today is another easy card. I seen a similar card in my Stampin` Success Magazine, but they did the opening in the front a bit different with a window shaker. I decided against that and make it one step easier. I used some Gumball Green Embossing powder on the greeting to help it stand out a bit.. I am kinda digging the new in color Gumball Green. (my studio is about the same color).

What I used:
Greetings Of The Season Stamp Set
Snowflake Soiree Stamp Set

Paper
Crumb Cake Card Stock

Ink
Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin' Pad
Gumball Green Classic Stampin' Pad
Whisper White Craft Stampin' Pad
VersaMark Pad

Accessories & Tools
Gumball Green Stampin' Emboss Powder
Gumball Green 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon
Rhinestone Basic Jewels(I added these after I took the photos.. in the middle of the snowflakes)
Stampin' Dimensionals
2- 1/2" Circle Punch

I hope you like today's card!!! Take time to get INKY!!!  I have a class schedule HERE and I'd love to have you join me to stamp! Want to add the Chalet to Facebook? Just click HERE. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great day!!

A Monsterous Munchie!

Good evening! I just thought I'd share a little something with you. Tonight I held a Halloween Themed class. It was so much fun! I love Halloween! Maybe it is because I think October is a good month! Its my birth month.. so hey.. it's gotta be good! When I hold a class, I like to pamper my guests attending. I try to make them a special treat of some sort.. today it was caramel corn. Yum!!! This is a treat that so reminds me of fall and Halloween. Here is what I made for each of them.

I used the following:

Monster Munchies Clear Mount Stamps
Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Series Paper
Basic Grey Card Stock
Lucky Limeade Card Stock
Glue Gun
Scallop Circle Punches
1/2 inch Striped Satin Ribbon
Cellophane bags
Lollipop Sticks - at the local craft store.

See the Halloween Subway Art behind the treat? That was done using MDS2 - so cute and SO easy!

Holy cow! It's a new month already? Blog Hoppin` Time!

Good Morning, Class! It is the begining of "fall" and back to school. It is hard to believe it is that time once again. Now, I will have more time to stamp. Innkeepering in a tourists area and combining it with summer, means, not much "me" time.. so, things will be changing a bit. I will have a little extra time to stamp and be creative. This months blog hop is.. Fall & Back To School. I was going to do my theme in fall.. I then decided to challenge myself with the Back To School theme. So, lets show you what I did come up with.

I will get a better picture of each for you here below.. I must say.. the projects were both super duper easy and fun to make. In fact, I didnt stamp at all - crazy! I did get to use my hot glue gun thought!

For the card, I used:

Baja Breeze Card Stock
Wild Wasabi Card Stock
Storytime Designer Series Paper - I used a bottom portion and cut it to size and tada!
Very Vanilla Card Stock with Red Print From My Printer - CK Font - Child's Play
Riding Hood Red Card Stock
Subtles Buttons Collection
Whisper White Bakers Twine
Stampin Dimenionals

For the Apple - I was inspired when I seen these on a display at the Stampin` Up! convention. I used a 3 1/2 inch circle die and the big shot and cut out 12 of these.. folded them in half. I then glued them all together, and then took my hot glue gun, and glued the apple circles to the big pencil!

Cherry Cobbler Card Stock
Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper (Old Olive)
A Pencil from Staples Office Supply store.. (Jumbo ones!)
Blossom Petals Builder Punch (for the leaves)
Hot Glue Gun
3/8 inch Stitched Satin Ribbon - Gumball Green - LOVE it!

A little bonus.. I was playing around with MDS2 (My Digital Studio) - a digital program that Stampin` Up has. It is a very cool program and highly addictive. If you are even remotely thinking of trying to go digital with your scrapbooks or even cards, and other awesome paper crafting ideas, I suggest you grab the free download and check it out. It is amazing! The sky is the limit! Here is a quick card made with MDS2.. how cool is this?

This is the front, inside front, inside right and back of the card.. pretty cool eh? This was done using a template from the Back To School download. You can find out more information on MDS2 by clicking
HERE

Please make sure to visit the other talented ladies blogs and leave a comment so we all know that you did stop by. Have a wonderful day and take time to get ....... Inky!!!
