Where have I been?

I'm so sorry for the lack of posting. Life.. I tell you! It zooms by and another month is almost over. Crazy I tell you! Last week I went to Salt Lake City to Stampin Up!'s convention. I had a blast and I got a lot of great ideas. It feels like last week was a blur already. I was bummed to see it end. I know I needed to get back home and back into routine. So, I am back.. with a lot of ideas, refreshed inspiration and lots to share.

I thought I would share pictures for the next few weeks ish... of what I experienced at convention. There was so much creativity around me. I just loved it!

Here I am modeling our convention bag.. I so love this bag.. I love chevron!!!

The photos above are of shopping at the new City Creek Center next to the Marriott, and also heading to Momento Mall for great Stampin Up! goodies! It was a lot of fun to shop Momento Mall, just sayin!

Now, it is time I rest my head.. I will share more soon!

PS I am really not that short.. the other gals are just tall! LOL

I really like the color combo I used.. and here is the recipe! BTW, this set, So Sorry, has some really nice sentiments in it.. just those true, down to earth type of sentiments that I know I will use over and over again.

Happy Happy Post 4th of July!!! I hope you are having an amazing week full of fun and great memories!! I really love this month's theme. I was a bit stumped.. but once I started, I was on a roll. I never really liked to work with red, white and blue. Not that I don't like the colors together, but I'm more of a um.. subtles girl, or other brights together.. just not really worked with these together before. And, you know what? I love it! I really dig these three colors together! Featuring: Real Red, Pacific Point, Crumb Cake, and Whisper White.

Here is my ensemble together.. and then we can talk about each "recipe" separately... ready?

I decided to make, small gift cards for gift bags, a larger A2 size card, and a goodie bag filled with chocolate. A few things I used are retired. I know.. bad me. I try so hard to keep to just current Stampin` Up! products. Unfortunately, our starts have all been retired. I decided to use them anyway.. I was in a star kind of mood. If you have these dies for the Big Shot, I hope I have inspired you to dust them off and USE them!

Happy Father's Day To All Dads Out There!

Hi Everyone! Happy Sunday and Happy Father's Day!! I cannot believe half of the month is over with already. Yikes! The summer is already flying by. I just wanted to share a couple of photos I took today. I feel silly because I forgot to get a photo with my dad. However, I did get him to pose with the card I made him (original design by Kimberly Van Diepen.. thank you Kimberly!). He loved the design of his card and even asked how I did this.. and how I did that.. like he was truly interested in knowing how I made the card. It was kinda cute! I wish my mom would be as interested in stamping. I can't seem to give her the stampin or scrapbooking bug.

I however did not make the cake.. that is compliments of Dairy Queen. As you can see, it was melting but I still made my dad pose  for the camera with it. :) I hope you all have a wonderful day!
