Chipboard, Stampin Up (Ludington Club) and some CUTE Ideas!

Hi Everyone! I'm here to blog what we did for stamp club.. simple yet cute! I love chipboard.. grungeboard.. anything that gives a little bulk and dimention. Here are some neat things we made tuesday night. :) The ribbon is a bookmark.. pretty darn clever and easy too with just a hint of chipboard and embellishments. Happy Stamping!!! :-)

A Springtime Walk Around Ludington's Best Spot.. THE BEACH!

HI!! Happy Spring.. well for the day at least.. don't blink tho because it could change in a blink of an eye.. it is Michigan yano! I'm located in Ludington, which is along the west coast of the state.. and blessed with natural beauty. I complain about the winters.. I hate winter. I don't like the cold.. BUT.. this time of year.. i so love! The flowers are budding, the birds are back and the water is moving! I took a ride to the state park today.. it was gorgeous.. just about 60F. So, here is just a sample of some of the 55 pictures I took today.. enjoy! Happy Spring.. and soon I'm going to actually scrapbook.. so Ill share a few photos of that this week.. fingers crossed. :)

Ouchie!

Well, the ole saying goes.. if it hurts.. its telling ya something! Ive had an issue with my left molar for a few weeks. Ive tried to ignore it because I don't have dental insurance and I have an appointment in 5 weeks for a regular cleaning. However, after the pain I've been getting from it.. I decided maybe it was time to call the dentist. I really don't like the dentist.. and as I told my dentist today.. i love you guys.. BUT.. Id rather not be here. :) I figured it was just a cavity. It ended up being more than that. We took a look with this cool little camera she has and I got to see it on the computer screen. She took a pic of it and sent it to me. Cool eh? So, looking at things.. she discovered the tooth was cracked in 3 places and I needed a crown. It freaked me out. I'm a wimp anyway.. but not only was I thinking .. pain.. after I seen what the bill will be.. I was even more freaked out. However, it has to be taken care of.. one of the most awful things is tooth ache pain. So, now I've come home with a temporary crown and Ill have my "real" crown in April 30th. So, does this officially make me a princess with a crown? :-)

Hi!! Well, I had to break down.. I had to do the dirty deed! I added Le Serving Spoon, here in Ludington, to my face book. Talk about torture. I see how they operate.. posting pics of their baked goods at 10pm and then responding on face book saying they wont open til 9am the following day. So, I broke down today after being up at 5am.. and on the road by 630am.. to take Lucinda to the airport.. I finally broke down as this delicious goodie called my name for hours today.. If you are local, make sure to stop by Le Serving Spoon and add them to your face book.. good stuff I tell ya! :)

OMG.. almost 25 years????

I just stole this off of facebook. My original copy is somewhere. LOL. Yep, that was my 20th High School Reunion. Wow.. time is flying by! This year will be 25 years. I remember when my mom was going to HER 25th class reunion.. and I thought.. OMG.. they are getting "older". Im realizing 42 is the new 22??? Ok, well hey.. it sounds good.. ! LOL.. Anyway.. just thought for those of you from the class of 85.. here ya go and hope to see you at this years 25th class reunion on August 14th!

Butterflies are so "in" right now.. and this was so cool to see. Ive been to FMG just once before.. and it has been a few years. I got some great pictures. I love butterfriles.. they are so peaceful. The sun was out so they were very active. I just thought Id share a few of the day's event. Enjoy.. !

A Trip To Jenny's House for a VERY cool 3 project class!

Jenny has the neatest ideas! I loved these projects. Jenny, thank you for sharing these projects with us. I really really dig these three. We made a mini book with gassine envelopes that were sewn together. We also made an A2 sized card complete with detachable gift bookmark (so cute) and we made this adorable birdhouse with the lil mini carton diecut. Love it! I just had to share. Happy Stamping!

With Spring Comes............... My Harley!

Hi everyone!!! It is a sunny day here in NW Michgian (altho its lacking the warmth part!). Starting to clean out the garage.. put the snow plow away.. and put the bike in the garage. Isnt she a dream? LOL. She purrrrs so nice.. and is LOUD. I love her! Started her right up and let her run a little bit after a long cold winter alone. So, she got to see sunshine today.. there isnt insurance on her yet (that has to wait due to finances) and the weather here is still pretty chilly in the 30s 40s.. and low 50s (when we are lucky). I just prefer to wait til I dont have to freeze my tail off to ride. This is the bike I had a painter use Perfect Pearls on (a Ranger Ink product).. so it truly is a papercrafters bike :) Have a great day! Oh and Sharon & Terri.. HI !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I miss you both. I wish I could be there with yas where its warmer! :-)

Needing A Template Facelift!

Well, after about 5 hours of *trying* to give my blog a facelift and in the process saving all my gidgets and gadgets.. I've come to the conclusion that I'm not always so witty and smart. The blog templates have the best of me. After searching around I found a beautiful blog template i MUST have.. and I have emailed this wonderful lady who designed this blog for some professional help. I can't wait to hear from her.. as Im really in need of a makeover here. It is sooo pretty.. pink and vintage shabby chic.. oooh I'm excited.. lets hope she can help me with my *issue*. :)

Easter Cards

Putzing around with my punches.. did a little "punch art" lately and came up with some really cool designs. I cant take credit for it tho.. my stamping buddy, Lucinda did the punch designs while I was using the sizzix machine and trying to re figure out my Quickutz Silhouette machine that I politely cussed at - LOL.
