Oh My Goodness...!

Good afternoon everyone! Woweeee.. have I had a crazy fun weekend! On friday, 8 of us ventured to Milwaukee Wisconsin, to the Stampin` Up! Regionals Event. We took off Friday around noon, and slowly ventured to Milwaukee .. driving around Lake Michigan, through Chicago and to Milwaukee. We stayed over night in a Hotel that connects to the Convention center. We had a good time at dinner. We went to bed early and got up at 5am! We got all purdy and headed to breakfast and then onward to the Convention Center. It was so much fun! One of my downline (and my BFF) was able to go! Yay, Lucinda! It was like a mini convention. Let me share a few photos. We did swapping with other demonstrators, we got to meet Shelli Gardner, CEO of Stampin` Up!, we did Make N Takes, and had lunch. We had WOW workshops to watch. My upline and VERY good friend, Jenny, did one of the WOW presentations and she just totally rocked the house! Way to go, Jenny!!! She said she was nervous - I don't buy that - she looked cool as a cucumber and right into her "zone". We then got to see Donna Griffith, Shannon West, and Carrie Cudney on stage. They shared some very inspiring projects. We also had Georgia Giguere from Mendota Heights, MN, on stage giving her take on how she does her workshop parties. She did such a wonderful job! Such helpful information.

To sum this um.. we really had a great time. Here are some photos to share with you. Eventually, I WILL learn MDS (My Digital Studio) so I too, can put these pictures with pretty scrapbook pages, and books and calendars and all of that wonderful stuff!

This here was my swap card. I am really into green lately and I love love love, the DSP that Sale A Bration is offering right now. I used a lot of new stuff from the Occasions Mini Catalog on this card. I will showcase this more, tomorrow, sharing the "recipe". I just had to show that it was on display and that put a smile on my face! Here is Lu's card...

Isn't that cute? I really love the color combination and I think right now, Mixed Bunch and the blossom punch are my favorites right now. They work so well together and make card making really easy!

This was our group getting together the night before. From left to right are: Ann, Jenny, Tara, Maureen, Bernice, Lucinda and Sherry.. aka, Tulip! Jenny gave us some goodies from one of her really good customers, Jamie. Jamie, thank you so much! That was SO sweet of you. She even made us a HUGE basket full of goodies to have with us all day yesterday. It was delicious and everyone totally enjoyed. So kind and thoughtful of you!

It is so much fun to attend events with wonderful friends!!

What a fun post. It looks like you had a blast. I'm jealous, there are not any Regionals in northern CA. You card swap is awesome in all the shades of green. Smiles, Elizabeth
